AI infrastructure is searching for locations where power is available, scalable and economically competitive. The New Silk Road offers a compelling proposition: connect Central Asia's energy base and industrial sites with the growing digital routes between Europe and Asia.

The electricity gap is material

IT Park Uzbekistan has published an electricity tariff of $0.05 per kWh for qualifying large AI and data-center investments in Karakalpakstan. For comparison, recent public benchmarks place US industrial electricity near $0.0862 per kWh, EU non-household electricity near €0.1837 per kWh and Germany near €0.2264 per kWh.

This does not mean every project receives the published tariff or that electricity alone determines success. It shows why developers, operators and investors are looking more closely at the region.

What turns an advantage into a project

  • Confirmed power allocation and connection schedule
  • Resilience through grid design, backup and energy storage
  • Fiber diversity and access to customers
  • Cooling and water strategy suited to the site
  • Clear land, permitting, capital and operating structure

Why Grydaris is positioned here

The opportunity sits between global capital and local execution. Grydaris develops the bridge: it evaluates locations, builds the project concept, coordinates technical and commercial workstreams and helps move qualified opportunities toward investment and operation.

The New Silk Road thesis is geographic and economic. It is about converting lower-cost energy and strategic connectivity into a new platform for AI compute.
